Overview

Sagada is a mystical mountain town where ancient Igorot traditions still breathe in everyday life. Perched high in the Cordillera mountains, this is not a place you stumble upon — it is a destination you earn, through winding mountain roads and a journey into the soul of Northern Philippines.

You will trek to the famous hanging coffins that dangle from limestone cliffs, a centuries-old burial practice that speaks to the Igorot people's deep connection with nature and ancestors. You will wade through Sumaguing Cave's underground river and emerge into emerald rice terraces carved into the mountainside.

Our local Igorot guides share oral histories, indigenous rituals, and the wisdom of a culture that predates Spanish colonization. This is adventure travel at its most authentic — physically challenging, culturally rich, and profoundly moving.
